Okay, so if I burn an AVI movie on a DVD-R, can I play the disc in a DVD player compatible with DivX?
Remember, you need to talk to me like I'm 5, or I do not understand. So what is a codec? And should I convert an AVI to XviD, or …. WOT? Since I'm 5, uncle, I am 5.
The player should have the support of AVI. Most recent players do. It should only be able to blow it up and play. If that fails, try using a program like Nero to burn as a VCD on a CD or DVD and then try to reproduce it. I was lucky with both.
