Has anyone had luck building a projection screen with blackout cloth? I can not use the walls painted.?
I live in an apartment to paint the walls is not an option. I though about picking a chipboard or MDF and paint, but the weight can be much. I've seen a lot of people extends black cloth on a frame with the fabric at the projector. It would not make sense to me as rubberside the light is reflected back toward the projector and the web be disseminated. I only need a 72 "screen while sitting about 7-8 meters. I thought of a manual screen, but do not want to deal with wrinkles or movement. And I'm trying to keep it under $ 100.
I did not even bother with blackout fabric. I bought the fabric of projection here: www.dazian.com Then I nailed strips of wood about 4 "wide and 1 / 4" wall thickness. Then he stretched the fabric tight and stapled to the grille. Then I took some frames wood, painted a nice shiny black color and picture frame nailed to wooden slats, thus "framing" my screen. Weeder
