What is the best media player for downloaded movies to watch and record?
I have Windows Media Player but will not withdraw until the films I received from FrostWire. It has got to be something better. Please help. There is also a better site for movies?
This is most likely a problem codec. I recommend using VLC media player (it can play anything). Best part is that it is free, open source and completely free of spyware. It is also the player more popular there. VLC media player is a portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, …) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. If you also want free codecs, the K-Lite Codec Pack should allow your media player (eg Windows Media Player) to play 99% of all movies that are downloaded from the Internet.
