If you are going to buy one of the 2 projectors below which would it be? One of them is one is DLP and LCD?

I sionce brought inside my home theater LR and need a new one to the outside. I sure the S4 is as good as the S3, but saw the Optoma and wondered if it would be even better. thanks!
The previous respondent should be pretty myopic if you've never heard Optoma talk about … they are one of the best and most known manufacturers of projector. I have not used any of these models, but the main difference (apart from technology) is the contrast ratio. 2000:1 to 500:1 for Optoma and Epson, and DVI (digital with HDCP) Optoma entry rather than the Epson. This should give a better picture of movies all the same … but requires a dark stage to really show the benefits. Given the original list price suppose that the construction, optics and perhaps the quality scaler would be a little better in the Optoma. The DVI input is a bonus. Personally, for movies that would take a LCD DLP over a day. One benefit is possible from the Optoma projectors that gives you two different and could be assigned to any adjustment that benefits more (for example, could Optoma enter the house if you have a light controlled HT)
