$11.98 After kicking vocalist Ozzy Osbourne out of the band in 1978, Black Sabbath knew they would have to strike back with a powerful record if they were to retain their credibility. What do you think about Al Sharpton's Rainbow / PUSH org. Meeting with the Braves for the lack of a black player
What do you think you about Al Sharpton's Rainbow / PUSH org. meeting with the Atlanta Braves on black players? His group recently met with the Atlanta Braves big wigs to get more black players in their team. I've noticed that two of its white players left field have been replaced by a black player lesser talent. Is this ethical? is hypocrtical? Here are some facts: Approximately 10% of MLB players are black. Approximately 80 +% of NBA players are black. Approximately 67% of NFL players are black. Approximately 12% of Americans are black. It is baseball more "matched" when compared with the current population. And it would be a "civil rights leader" have their time more wisely in trying to match the NFL and NBA?
All you have Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson is engaged in highly suspect, in my opinion. I'm tired of the race card pulled all the time. People of all races to start realizing that the color of their skin is not always going to get them the best of the best. We must begin to put the best and brightest in positions or of any kind, not the person with the right skin color. I agree with everything you said. And yes, Sharpton and Jackson should spend their time more wisely on issues that matter, not how many black players are on what the baseball team.
