What Blu-ray region can play a UK PS3?
I have a PS3 and know that all games are region free, but with built-in Blu-ray, that the region Blu-ray is playing or multi-regional? If it is not multi-regional, is Sony going to release a software update to allow playback of DVD multi-regional? Thank you very much in advance
As the previous answer said, BluRay discs only in their region play. A disadvantage of BluRay movie discs compared with the region free HD-DVD. Since Sony is heavily involved in the movie business, never will be released an update to the functionality of the region, as this will allow the gray market sales. movie companies do not want gray market sales, as it is their strategies contraproductive sales worldwide (for example, people in Europe could buy a movie disc for a movie that already comes to DVD / BluRay market in the U.S., where the film opens in theaters just in Europe, thereby hurting the revenue of the film at the cinema.)
