How to rename the file. RMVB a. Avi?
I downloaded Codec Pack Real Alternative.I want to use my files in wmplayer RMVB others worked programs.In without problems, but the W movie maker refuses to open these if folders.I rename. Renaming a file does not do what you want to do. The file extension (AVI, MPG, RM, RMVB), just tells the computer what the file is supposed to contain. If you rename a file RMVB to AVI, no program will be able to open it because think that is something that is not. Never change a file extension unless you know the two extensions are the same (like changing to MPG and MPEG files). It is necessary actually convert the file to a new format.
