How do I correct or avoid error 5100 in my Canon Pixma MP610 all in one scanner / copier printer?
It took the printer to a friend's house, lighted field and a high buzzing sound is heard in the boot. The head / ink cartridges remains static and the 5100 error message is displayed. It's almost like if the belt off the track. How can I fix this? It is also a printer / scanner / copier – you can ignore this message so I can use this as a scanner if I can fix it? Thank you. Replace cartridges and printheads. On and off, but again the error. It moves forward and backward in the implementation still think this is some kind of belt issue. Thanks for your feedback.
5100 is a cartridge error. Remove and replace them. ~
