How do I run my cable through a DVD player or VCR?
We had come to Comcast, check out our cable, because suddenly we stopped receiving channels above 47 (ESPN is like 48, how convinent!: [). The type of cable said there was nothing wrong with the cable through, even a small television connected via the same line different and it worked perfectly. He said we could run through a VCR or something, but I forget all the little details. What should I do? Help?!? 
First, check the settings of the TV and make sure your TV to cable, no air, this will be done in the settings menu. You can also try to have it search for channels, you may have deleted by mistake. If you are not work, you must connect a VCR and use the cable tuner in it. Heres how to connect. VCR: Connect the cable from the wall at the entrance of antenna in the back of the VCR. It will have a small piece of TV coax cable to connect "out to TV" at the entrance of the cable into the TV. TV: put the TV on channel 3 or 4 depending on the channel of the recorder is just off. Then turn on the video and configure the channels on it and then when you watch TV you change channels via remote video and video player. If you have questions, e-mail and I'll give you a hand.
