What is the difference VHS VCR player?
A VHS player is a device that can play pre-recorded VHS tapes, while that a VCR can not both play and record VHS tapes. VHS = Video Home System (a video tape format developed by JVC) = VCR Video Cassette Recorder (necessarily must be VHS format. There are others such as Beta developed by Sony. These are now extinct) VHS players did as a lower cost alternative to VCRs for people who only rent movies want to see pre-recorded video tapes. They are not very common.
